Dongying Shengli Oilfield Polymer Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of baomo Co., Ltd.) was established and built the first batch of domestic microbial polyacrylamide production lines.

The company was the first to undertake the national key scientific and technological research project "industrial technology development of acrylamide production by microbial method with an annual output of 5000 tons", which passed the appraisal and acceptance organized by the former Ministry of chemical industry in September 1997.

The company is recognized as a high-tech enterprise by Shandong science and Technology Commission.

◎November 2000

The "industrialization demonstration project of 13000 T / a ultra-high molecular weight polyacrylamide" undertaken by the company was approved by the State Planning Commission to be included in the national high-tech industry development project.

The "10000 t / a microbial acrylamide industrial polymerization technology" undertaken by the company won the National Excellent Achievement Award for key scientific and technological research in the ninth five year plan at the national science and technology conference.

The "demonstration project of industrialization of 13000 tons of ultra-high molecular weight polyacrylamide" undertaken by the company has passed the national acceptance and is one of the 100 licensing units of the national development and Reform Commission. It has become one of the largest production bases of microbial polyacrylamide in China.

Dongying Shengli Oilfield Polymer Co., Ltd. was officially changed to Shandong baomo Biochemical Co., Ltd.
